November 27, 201213 yr Having a bit of issues loading the NGX. Using a single monitor, and TrackIR 5, my NGX often loads "jumbled up", with me staring down at the radome, a section of fuselage sideways right behind the radome, and can't see anything else. Changing views inside doesn't help, but all external views are OK. I'm starting up the sim in 2D cockpit mode. Not pushing any buttons or moving the mouse during acft initialization. Did a search on various texture issues on this forum, and after various 30-page deep searches, gave up. Any help would be appreciated. Kev
November 27, 201213 yr Disable dx10 in the settings and then edit fsx.cfg and make sure texture load is set to 4096 and not default1024 Thx Andrei M.
November 27, 201213 yr Author Nope, didn't fix it. Still jumbled and now I'm getting lots of bright flashes on screen. Kev
November 27, 201213 yr Commercial Member This is only happening with the NGX? That sounds like pretty major graphics corruption to me and is usually indicative of a hardware or driver issue. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
November 27, 201213 yr Is TrackIR turned off when this happens? This does happen to me as well some times, but that is purely because there's too much light in the room when im useing TrackIR, and the camera goes crazy and gives me all kinds of weird angles. Kind regards Jan H Dahl
November 28, 201213 yr If TrackIR is on, then this only confirms my suspicion, but it only happens to me when i get sunlight on the sensor unit, or from another lightsource. Especially if you don't wear the headset/cap at the time when it occurs. If you reset the TrackIR cam, that should take care of the weird angles, the flashes on the other hand i don't know. Hope it works out whatever the problem may be Kind regards Jan H Dahl
