November 28, 201213 yr Ah, thanks. I was expecting this to be another problem, but needed more information before I gave you a wrong answer. Do the setting save and reload properly if you lower one rather than raise it? I'm not sure what the problem might be, but someone here will have some information. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! November 28, 201213 yr It may be a permissions issue. Also, the changes you can make are not saved unless FSX closes properly without any CTD.
November 28, 201213 yr Try running FSX as an administrator. Note: I had not refreshed the page after the preceding post was posted.
November 28, 201213 yr I think you can run FSX as an administrator via right clicking, but the most convenient way is to enter the Windows Control Panel and change your account type from Limited User to Administrator in the User Accounts page. By doing this, you should not run into other installation/modification issues in the future when you purchase more add-ons.
