Go flying to BGKK NOW!!!! This is 15:39 UTC, so,, for some of you reading this message too late, it'll be .... too late :-/

The METAR is reading:

281450Z BGKK 07045G72KT 2000 +SNRA BKN011 OVC015 01/01 Q0999...

This is a good example of an aspect where X-Plane10 does it better than FSX, even using the best weather injection add-ons...

With the latest modifications to the METAR parsing algorithm I believe X-Plane10 has reached an excellent level of accuracy, at least in as far as winds and gusts, and wind variability, are concerned. In FSX, even using the best weather injectors, the shear effects are still poor - and I do not mean the turbulence!!!!

On the Flight Dynamics area, it is also a good exmaple of the prop model in X-Plane10 being more detailled, comprehensive than the FSX one, by simply looking at the

effects such gusts and variable winds can have on your poor CS prop system....

BTW: For tha Gals... you also have them, when needed, of course....

You wouldn't have a video would you??

Edit: I just tried it with the Columbia 400 It flipped on the runway before I could do anything. (Understandable with a 72kt wind!!) Interesting though there was thunder, in a Blizzard!!!

Thanks
