possible Toshiba L755-S5214 upgrades?

Featured Replies

I doubt that could be a heat problem. Could you try again. It could be a GPU problem or FSX itself.

Ah that could be a possibility of heat , but you need to check the temps during game play so when in full screen press ALT + Enter you will go in a windowed mode.

BTW what GPU are you using ?

it cant be heat related it did this time while i was refueling and the temp was at 59C. During my flight i lowered the frame limit to 27fps and it seemed to help with the heat

But are you able to fly without crashing ? pull down your fsx settings like autogen / water / traffic / special effects / bloom / flare etc..

Well I did tell you to move the fsx.cfg and let fsx recreate it.

now you can move all the fsx.*** to a different folder and re-run fsx.

you can rename the fsx.xxx to fsx.cfg

Assuming that you're using Windows 7, the most likely cause of the crash based on what you said would be the uiautomationcore.dll file. Follow this link http://#####.wordpress.com/fsx-software-and-hardware-guide/ and halfway down the page under Menu Crashes and Fix AKA UIAutomationcore.dll-Fix download the file and place it on your FSX root folder. That should solve it.

You could follow the previous post about the .dll or move the fsx.cfg as I have mentioned start fsx so the fsx.cfg gets created.
