December 3, 201213 yr I doubt that could be a heat problem. Could you try again. It could be a GPU problem or FSX itself. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
December 3, 201213 yr Author its crashed like that before though, if i play for long enough it will do it, Richard Hoole
December 3, 201213 yr Ah that could be a possibility of heat , but you need to check the temps during game play so when in full screen press ALT + Enter you will go in a windowed mode. BTW what GPU are you using ? Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
December 3, 201213 yr Author i was checking the heat during game play and it was only getting to like 57-63 area ill play right now and see what it does Richard Hoole
December 3, 201213 yr Could please move your fsx.cfg and let it rebuild ? Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
December 3, 201213 yr Author it cant be heat related it did this time while i was refueling and the temp was at 59C. During my flight i lowered the frame limit to 27fps and it seemed to help with the heat Richard Hoole
December 3, 201213 yr But are you able to fly without crashing ? pull down your fsx settings like autogen / water / traffic / special effects / bloom / flare etc.. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
December 3, 201213 yr Author while i was flying i had no problems, usually it happens when im clicking stuff on the menu in flight but this time it was fine, it just happened when i stopped at the fueling station Richard Hoole
December 3, 201213 yr ok, I would not know about the click and crash, but keep checking if it happens again. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
December 3, 201213 yr Well I did tell you to move the fsx.cfg and let fsx recreate it. now you can move all the fsx.*** to a different folder and re-run fsx. you can rename the fsx.xxx to fsx.cfg Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
December 3, 201213 yr Assuming that you're using Windows 7, the most likely cause of the crash based on what you said would be the uiautomationcore.dll file. Follow this link http://#####.wordpress.com/fsx-software-and-hardware-guide/ and halfway down the page under Menu Crashes and Fix AKA UIAutomationcore.dll-Fix download the file and place it on your FSX root folder. That should solve it. Jesse
December 3, 201213 yr Author let me try this now lol all i have to do is put in the fsx file? so it looks like this? Richard Hoole
December 3, 201213 yr You could follow the previous post about the .dll or move the fsx.cfg as I have mentioned start fsx so the fsx.cfg gets created. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
