I think I read it somewhere but can't find it now...is it possible to reset FS2Crew to the state it's in before you press the 'RUN PF' button in a quick an easy way?

However, FS2Crew doesn't save its position per se if that's what you're thinking about.

Sorry if my question was a bit unclear, I'll try to explain what I meant.

 

Say that I'm preparing for a flight and in the middle of the FS2Crew FO running through his preflight procedures I for some reason decide I want to start over I can easily bring the a/c back to a "cold & dark" state by loading a panel state but how can I in such a situation make sure the FS2Crew FO don't get 'out of sync' with the a/c state...ie make him understand I want to start all over again from the state where the a/c is cold and dark and I press the RUN PF button? Make sure that he doesn't think he already went out for his walk-around etc etc...

 

Or maybe it's as easy as skipping through the FS2Crew states til I get to the very first state and then press the PF button again to start all over? And this after loading the a/c cold and dark panel state or should I maybe wait with that until I 'reset' FS2Crew to not confuse the FO what's happening with the a/c?

 

A very simple question but a little bit hard to describe in text but I hope you understand what I'm after now...? I guess what I'm really asking is how to quit/exit FS2Crew without restarting FSX.

If you've already started the "Pre-Flight Events", the FO won't automatically go back to the beginning if you reload your panel state file, even if you cycle FS2Crew states/modes.

 

In that case, your best bet if you want to restart everything is just to "reload/reset" the flight.

So there's no way to end FS2Crew once you have started it and then restart it by pressing the click spot below the EFIS panel?

Generally speaking, once the Pre-Flight events have started, you can stop it unless you Pause it.

 

And you can't restart it unless you reset your whole flight.

 

The only time you can restart it is during the 2nd leg.

 

The other parts of FS2Crew can effectively be stopped, in a way, by simply not advancing through the checklists.
