December 8, 201213 yr I was looking at the library and came across these beautiful paints of the Azul Brazilian EMB-195 that uses the aia model and had a question about them. I have all the woai packages and I see that the aia model is used by woai so can I just "add" those paints to the woai package and assign flight plans to them?. Also, I want to use some of the different liveries for Southwest from the library but the package from woai only uses a few. Can I "add" those textures to the woai Southwest package and they will be implemented by woai? I have asked some of these questions in the woai forum, but I always get better responses with avsim. thanks so much.
December 9, 201213 yr ...so can I just "add" those paints to the woai package and assign flight plans to them?. You can with a word of caution. When adding repaints and editing the aircraft.cfg you will often see thing like... [fltsim.xxx] // replace the xx with the next number. While it is common and accepted to use the "//" to make comments in *.cfg files, and FS will ignore them, if you later try to add a WoAI package that uses that plane the comment will crash the WoAI installer. Just remember to delete the comments and you will be OK. Also, I want to use some of the different liveries for Southwest from the library but the package from woai only uses a few. Can I "add" those textures to the woai Southwest package and they will be implemented by woai? The added liveries will not be used unless you assign flightplans to them. This is a failry simple process using AIFlight Planner. http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=161257 regards, Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.
December 9, 201213 yr Author I have aifp but never used it for this. Do I open the waoi flightplans in aifp and assign the new repaints? or does that mess up the integrity of the woai package. Thanks
