Multi Monitors: Windows "fly back" when reverting to full screen

Featured Replies

I posted this earlier, but let me have another try with a slightly different explanation:

1. I am using multiple monitors. In order to move panels to the secondary monitor, I change to windowed mode, undock the panels, move them and then revert to full screen mode.

2. When I revert to full screen mode, some of the panels that I had previously moved to the secondary monitor "jump" back to the primary monitor.

3. This happens in different variations with different panels - some jump back, some don't. This also happens when I use different hardware or a third monitor (so it's software related).

Glad for any help - it's driving me crazy. If you want to recommend an add-on, plese do, even if it's payable.

Regards,

Holger

I experience the same problem, but not with all aircraft. Haven't pursued this as I treated it as "one of those mystery things!", but would be interested if there is an answer ?

Am I mistaken or does windowed mode hit on the framerate? Plus, it looks terrible. Any way to get rid of the blue bars?

The items I have on my monitors are usualy 2D, no hit on frame rates. You will have to live with the blue frame, no problem for me.

Thanks, will try. I am under the impression that the windows are most clear when they are full screen. In windowed mode, they seem to be resized and blurred (just a bit).

Best,

Holger
