I have recently started to use TOPCAT with PMDG 747-400 FSX . (not Freighter)

I have configured the A/C as per instructions. However, upon loading the FMC, I notice that the Trim setting is not as per TOPCAT's calculation.

Ie: TOPCAT says 5,7, and FMC says 5,9. Looking at the Zfw, these look almost accurate and so does the fuel loaded.

 

 

 

The aircraft is the British Airways download from PMDG, with RR engines.

 

What a I doing wrong, as far as the Trim is concerned?

Any advice would be appreciated

I wouldn't be to worried about a 0.2 difference in trim setting, it's almost nothing and it's very hard to set that accuratly anyway. So, you're doing nothing wrong ;-)

I'd say split it down the middle and go with 5.8
