AOTD for 12/19 - Pedro Bay Plane Crash

Featured Replies

Looks like another DC-3 wannabe has gone down in the vicinity of Pedro Bay.

Enjoy.

Thank you.

Something was slightly messed up. From the picture on the MS Flight website, to finding the cache. When I loaded Flight and selected the hunt, I took off from Pedro Bay and flew a search grid for at least 30 minutes and didn't ever get the marker to show up. I extended my search to a 5 mile radius with the same results, then went back to a 1-2 mile pattern. Still nothing.

Finally, I dropped out and restarted Flight. When doing so, I had the cache marker within a minute. Flew over, collected the cache, and flew back to Pedro Bay where I landed. Strange things are happening.

I also flew back and forth for about a half hour and found nothing. Finally gave up and returned toPedro Bay and landed. Looks like I will need to start over again.

Ok, now it popped up and all is well.
