GTX 660 Ti- Graphics Problem

Featured Replies

Hello,

I recently built a new pc and installed the GTX 660 Ti. I have the latest driver installed, but when I am in the sim the graphics begin to disappear. Im not even sure if it's the the gpu that is causing the problem. I tried the HIGHMEMFIX and the uiautomatiationcore.dll with no luck and I tweaked the fsx.cfg and that did nothing. I linked 2 screen shots to show you all what I am experiencing. This happens in any airport I got to and sometimes the screen goes black, but I can still hear the sound from the sim.

Any solutions?

Looks like a scene from Return of the Jedi......they look like Scoutwalkers

It looks like a system memory problem, not a graphics card problem. I have seen this on my system when the system memory gets over loaded, but it usually disappears when I change to Windows View. There are a lot of good system/memory tweaks in the PMDG site along with what Kostas does.

I have the GTX660 and it has been flawless so far.

What operating system are you using?

Im using Windows 7 64-bit. Im not getting any warnings about problems with system memory. When you say system memory do you mean RAM?

I don't know how, but the problem seemed to have fixed it self. I'll report back if anything changes. Thanks!
