December 21, 201213 yr Hello, I recently built a new pc and installed the GTX 660 Ti. I have the latest driver installed, but when I am in the sim the graphics begin to disappear. Im not even sure if it's the the gpu that is causing the problem. I tried the HIGHMEMFIX and the uiautomatiationcore.dll with no luck and I tweaked the fsx.cfg and that did nothing. I linked 2 screen shots to show you all what I am experiencing. This happens in any airport I got to and sometimes the screen goes black, but I can still hear the sound from the sim. Any solutions? December 21, 201213 yr It looks like a system memory problem, not a graphics card problem. I have seen this on my system when the system memory gets over loaded, but it usually disappears when I change to Windows View. There are a lot of good system/memory tweaks in the PMDG site along with what Kostas does. I have the GTX660 and it has been flawless so far. What operating system are you using? December 21, 201213 yr Author Im using Windows 7 64-bit. Im not getting any warnings about problems with system memory. When you say system memory do you mean RAM? Lol Graham now that you mention it they do! Moses Velasquez
December 21, 201213 yr Author I don't know how, but the problem seemed to have fixed it self. I'll report back if anything changes. Thanks! Moses Velasquez
