December 24, 201213 yr Hi I have tried various versions of this , rex natural , vfr, 24hr. I think they all look very good, but a common problem I have is in daylight even in the summer sometimes the virtual cockpit goes so dark that I can't see any of the instruments, If I turn away from the sun they all light up again. Switching the panel lights on dosnt help. Anyone else get this effect, and any ideas how to fix.? I also have shade installed, its making me fly without enb, but night time flying seems too "bright" without enb. Nvidia 680gtx running on 3 monitors. Any comments appreciated. December 26, 201213 yr You really need to tweak the ini file to your own liking and to match with your system settings (particularyly the brightness, colour and contrast setings of your videodriver). That means reading the EMB documentation to understand what all these settings do. Whilst I didn't fully understand all of it, I found out enough to lower a few settings to give me a good compromise. January 2, 201313 yr Author thank you, found some default aircraft have the panel lights disabled in their .cfg files. Removed the // before them and all fine now will let me switch lights on in daytime and that solves i 3080rtx on a i7 12700k with 32 Gig ddr5. 2gig Ssd Quest 2 Windows 11
