  1. Hi, I fly FSX with ENB Series as the colours are better. I also have ezdok installed but never used it as I didn't know how to work it correctly. But now I have watched some youtube tutorials and downloaded the AOA camera pack. It works great but in full screen if I switch view the screen flashes black for like half a second. It is really annoying, By some research I found out it was ENB and it doesn't happen in windowed mode. I also get flashing during the initilization faze but I ignore that. I found these 2 threads from a few years ago which discuss it but there is never a fix found. These were from 2011/2012, it is now 2014. Do people use something different to ENB? Or is there a fix I don't know about? Previous Threads found from a google search: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/342844-ngxezdokenb-series-conflict/ http://forum.avsim.net/topic/383641-pmdg-ngx-ezdok-enb-flashing-issue-solved/ Thanks.

  3. Good evening everyone, Just thought I would share a couple shots while testing Gabriel J. T. Rodrigues sky textures with ENB series enhancement. I must say, I absolutely love the new look! This is my first time using ENB and i'm starting to get addicted to it! Gabriel, I just wanted to personally thank you for the wonderful job you've done! I am no way a screenshot artist, but thought i'd share this with all of you! Cheers,
  4. Hi I have tried various versions of this , rex natural , vfr, 24hr. I think they all look very good, but a common problem I have is in daylight even in the summer sometimes the virtual cockpit goes so dark that I can't see any of the instruments, If I turn away from the sun they all light up again. Switching the panel lights on dosnt help. Anyone else get this effect, and any ideas how to fix.? I also have shade installed, its making me fly without enb, but night time flying seems too "bright" without enb. Nvidia 680gtx running on 3 monitors. Any comments appreciated. Happy Christmas all Steve
  5. Hello everyone! I seached forum for similar topics but i didn't find the answer, so maybe somebody could help me. I bought a new computer this week and everything is running smooth. Today I realised, that I forgot to set up my ENB series so I copied everything to FSX folder as usual, but upon start my FSX just says "Fatal error occured" because of d3d9.dll. I have nVidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti with 301.42 drivers. W7 64bit. There was no problem with my old 4830 Any suggestions? Thank you.
  6. Everyone is different and everyone likes different add ons etc for fsx. That goes without saying. For some, certain mods work great, and others have problems with the same mods. I want to share my thoughts on ezdok/ezca and the enb mod. Both mods are awesome without doubt. If cameras are your thing, then ezca is the supreme program that will give you unlimited camera views, head shake and buffering effects, and a bunch of other things. However, from what I've read online, a lot of people simply like the head shake effect and buffering illusion. Also, if you've tinkered with ezdok, you know that it's quite complicated and can sometimes have issues. It's not idiot proof. Personally, I was having a lot of problems with ezdok (technical issues) and ended up uninstalling it. Luckily, I wasn't too obsessed with the camera views and am quite happy with the default cameras of fsx. I do however loved and missed the wiggling, undocked head effects. The other day I discovered AccuFeel. this:http://www.a2asimulations.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=49 This program is extremely simple compared to Ezdok, but will give you instant, accurate head shake, stall buffeting, and ground shake in all your aircraft including addon aircraft simply by installing the software. It detects the type of aircraft, reads and understands it's flight specs and creates a shake profile for it. It also adds a whole plethora of improved sounds which are really amazing. This program is not a camera program though, so you will use the fsx camera system. You install it and forget about it. It's customizable if you want to tweak it with a really easy to use slider menu that appears in your add-ons tab. Regarding the ENB series mod....once you use it, it's hard to tolerate the default, washed out values and tones of fsx. It really gives fsx a photographic look. But as many know, there can be some serious issues the mod including crashes, burned out skies, difficulty getting the mod to work in all types of time themes etc. For me, it was the single cause of CTD and fatal error messages. You can approximate most of the effects other than bloom by simply adjusting your desktop colour settings. Run fsx in it's own window and adjust your gamma, contrast, lightness etc until you get a richer, more contrasty look. Just playing with these sliders, you can exactly match the HDR effect of ENB....darker richer darks, brighter, more blown out lights etc. And at night, you can really get the high contrast, rich velvety blacks that are so much the prize of the ENB tweaks. On my LED tv, fsx looks awesome, and exactly matches the values of ENB minus the bloom softening. I liked the soap opera gauziness of enb, but got tired of the persistent crashes and problems. Maybe yours works great...I don't know. Aside from bloom, all the other effects can be had by changing your desktop colour settings....gamma, contrast, brightness, vibrance. Also play with your TV/monior settings as well. The nice thing about doing it this way is that you don't lose colour saturation or detail in blown out whites. It gives you a lot of customizability. I don't know, just my thoughts.
  7. I have rex plus overdrive but have also heard of the enb series, can you use both together and where would you download a good enb series?

  9. I MADE TWO SAME TOPICS. NOT ON PORPOSE. PLEASE DELETE ONE IF NECESSARY. Hi guys. i've got a problem. I have asus laptop with two graphic cards. one ###### intel and nvidia geforce, which is ok for fsx, but when i install sweetfx or any enb, fsx stop reading the nvidia one and may only run on the ###### intel. It happens wih every enb. I'm begging for help!
  10. Hi all, I'm excited with Shade FSX. Now FSX is closer to reality, as you can see in this vid. I will not use ENB Series anymore, so I got a few fps and smooth. I hope you'll enjoy with this short vid! Cheers!

  13. here is a guide i posted on the REX forums to get a little bit more beauty out of your prepar3dv2. My setting are very subtle but you guys can play with it. Now that prepar3d v2 is out, I thought it would be a good idea to put a guide for anybody that wants to enhance their prepar3d experience by adding a shader injection. In this case we will use sweet fx and flightfx GUI since regular enb doesnt work in dx11 and FXAA tool seems a bit buggy in prepar3d v2. This guide should also work for fsx dx9 and dx10 but will need setting adjustments. Right, so lets get to it. 1. download flightfx here : http://www.777studio...ightFX_V1.0.zip 2. donwload my settings if you choose to here : http://www.sendspace.com/file/ogxpi2 3. Install flightfx, I know this thing is supposed to be for ROF but it works just fine in prepar3dv2 and fsx. 4. Now before you launch anything, make sure flightfx and prepar3d are set to run in administrative mode. very important otherwise it will not copy the files that you need. 5. Launch flightfx (admin mode) 6.In the lower left corner of the program it says "register a new game" click it. 7. Find the prepar3d.exe file in the root folder here : C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2 8. Good, now the fields on the right should be already filled up. click on "Enable SweetFX" right below where it says "data folder". 8b. Check the root folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2) to see if flightfx copied the necessary files. ex. d3d9.dll d3d9.fx dxgi.dll dxgi.fx etc. 9.Ok, now go to the "FX settings " tab on the top. at the bottom click where it says "Load from" 10.find where you saved the downloaded file that has my settings (file: "prepard3dv4.txt"). you can also put the txt file inside : C:\Program Files (x86)\FlightFX\FX\SweetFX\Presets for greater convenience. This should put the settings that i have done for preapr3d, you can change them as you want. i did mine with a bit more punch on the colors and bit more "clarity". 11. Now go back to the "Profile manager" tab and check that you have the right file under "FX Preset". this is the file that prepar3d will use for the settings that are active on the "FX settings" tab. 12. Great now leave flightfx open and launch prepar3d v2 and pick any scene that you want to test and adjust. 13. Now to use this we have by default 3 keys: - printscreen button does exactly that. -screenlock button turns the shaders on/off. -pause button reloads the shaders for changes (unmap from p3d if you want). 14.you can leave prepar3d running and just go to flightfx and change some of the settings. anything that you want. as soon as you move a slider it saves it automatically. so move a slider then just go back to prepar3d and hit the pause button.this will reload the shaders with your changes and you will see it immediately. here is a before and after for comparison. The settings are very conservative but like i said you can changed them as you want. before http://i.imgur.com/DJvDrp6.jpg after http://i.imgur.com/1XkEeuK.jpg Also note, my prepar3d setting have HDR off since its a bit buggy currently, and has FXAA off as well as no MSAA. flightfx deals with it better and its more adjustable. Thats it keep playing with it and help build amazing settings for the community. The thing seems very stable, although you might see that clicking menus seem a bit slow, you can turn off the shaders and it will go back to normal. Also i did not see any hit on FPS if anything maybe 1fps lost. Happy flying.
