Just a quick couple of questions: (I recently switched to Voice Control and I think it's marvellous)

 

1. When Arriving at a Gate, the Ground Crew does not provide the verbal directive to Cut Engine #1. (ie: Using the GPU & External Air at the Arrival Gate pg 54/55 Manual)

 

* the cfg panel is setup correctly for external GPU

* Parking Brake is set

* Engine #2 is Shut Down

* Ground Crew has responded and actioned directive for GPU connection

* Audio is configured correctly

* FO has switched power to Ground in Overhead Panel

 

Any idea why?

 

 

2. there is no V2 call for me on take-off? (CDU - PMDG options are removed ie: V1, Vr & V2 in accordance with FS2 Crew NGX Voice Control Manual pages 19 & 20). V1 & Vr are audible and playing correctly.

1. Using the UK voice set I assume? There was a bug in the sound file for the UK set and it's already been fixed. Which version are you using?

 

2. There is no V2 call out in FS2Crew. We follow the Boeing procedures, and they don't have a V2 call out either.

 

I'm not even sure why PMDG included a V2 call to begin with.

1. I'm using US Voice set. Version 1.5 - Voice Control. (I beta test button version for you some weeks ago - just made the switch to Voice Control last weekend) What does this mean for my situation?

this has occurred at several different airports / gates:

 

1. YMML (ORBX) Gates E4, E3 & E2

2. YSSY (CLS Pro) Gates D39 & D40

3. YSCB (ORBX) Gates 6 & 9

4. YBCS (ORBX) Gates 21 & 22

Those would all use the Brit voice accent for the ground crew, and the issue was a typo in one of the UK sound files.

 

Please try again with the latest version I must emailed you.
