No Window in Windowed

Featured Replies

Hello All!

This is my first flight with RCV4, and after loading a .PLN file and all, and starting RC, there is no window in FS for radar contact. I am in windowed mode, with MCXP running as admin. I have already tried my default key setting to display the window, but no box appears at all to communicate with ATC. I have MultiCrew XP running as Radar Contact for ATC, that may be an issue. Any suggestions on how I can get up and immerse myself in realism (for the most part)?

go get the latest documentation at www.jdtllc.com/v4/rcv43.pdf, read the quick start section, and set the fsuipc settings as instructed.

Thank you very much for the reply! If you mean checking the two boxes on the menu, I did that. Any other suggestions?

I believe a setting has to be changed in MCXP. Search in this forum for this problem or just try it without MCXP for testing.

Be sure your FSUIPC is current from the links above.

You can also use alt-tab to see if there are any hidden error messages.

To test RC itself just use a default aircraft running (parked with avionics on) in FS with RC and no other app running. When RC is set up with a flight plan and you are happy with other settings press the start button in RC. The FSUIPC\RC window (blue transparent with red characters by default) should show.
