************** JIT Debugging **************

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

application or computer (machine.config) must have the

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.

The application must also be compiled with debugging

enabled.

For example:

<configuration>

<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Do you have FSX sp1+sp2, or Acceleration installed?

Your error probably indicates a Microsoft Visual C++ Error.

Try un-installing and re-installing SP2, or Acceleration and see if it clears up.

Hi,

I have FSX Acceleration downloaded from the Windows Store. I am running Win 7 64 bit. I will try installing it again.

Scarlett is on the right track - The Exception Code 0xc0000417 indicates STATUS_INVALID_CRUNTIME_PARAMETER or an invalid parameter was passed to a C runtime function. The version of the msvcr100.dll that crashed belongs to Microsoft Visual C++ 2010, SP1 and that was issued in June of 2011 so it should not have affected a FSX/Acceleration installation. A FSX addon you installed is probably buggy or did not install properly. Do you have the ENB mod with the d3d9.dll in the main FSX directory? If so, remove it.

If the problem is not fixed by either Scarlett's suggestions or mine, then would you download and install AppCrashView - http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/app_crash_view.html? This program provides more details. It should show all of your crashes since you last installed Windows. Are they all the same? Copy and paste some of the crash reports. Thanks.

Best regards,

Jim

Thanks Jim. I do not have the d3d9.dll. I just tried a short flight from EHAM - EGLL which worked perfectly so hopefully its just a one off issue.
