PMDG 737NGX Rudder Stuck

Featured Replies

Today I was trying to taxi out to the runway on VATSIM with my PMDG 737-800NGX when I noticed that both my nose gear and rudder were pointed left. I looked to see if the rudder trim was full left but it wasn't. Does anyone know why this is?

Welcome to AVSIM!

Perhaps it is an issue with your controllers. Are you using any rudder pedals? If so, have they been calibrated correctly?

Are the rudder pedals in the virtual cockpit displaced, or are only the exterior animations functioning incorrectly? If the latter is the case, ensure that autorudder is unchecked in the general FSX settings. Also, make sure that you have set the hydraulic panel appropriately, although I doubt this is the cause.

It's an issue if you save a panel state with your rudder placed to one side. Basically...make sure you shut down/roll-to-a-stop with your rudder/tiller neutral before saving your panel state.

If you reload a default panel state it will fix itself.

I have a very similar problem. Have you, by any chance, got CMD B active still after landing?

Occasionally my (correctly calibrated rudder) will suddenly go to full right deflection. I noticed this immediately after landing once (cleared by deactivating CMD B ) , and twice now midway through an AP flight, the plane will suddenly begin a roll to the right and plunge to earth. Deactivating CMD A seems to fix it.

It seems as if the AP suddenly commands full-right-rudder for me occasionally?
