August 8, 200421 yr Hello Gang!I am on the verge of purchasing the PSS Dash-8 series; for 7.50, you can't beat it. I am however, a little bit confused on whether it brings any repaints with it or not because I noticed that they sell their repaints separately - if this is the case, this may actually not be as good a deal as it sounds, as each repaint costs close to 5.00 a piece, which would put this aircraft right up there with the most expensive payware's after a couple of repaints added. Thanks for any feedback.Sincerely,Dennis D. August 8, 200421 yr The only repaints that come with the base package are the 'house liveries. If you want other liveries you have to pay
August 8, 200421 yr Hello Ismet!I just noticed that they have a bundle livery pack for 20.00; between that, and the 7.50 for the package, @28.00, puts the package at a competitive price with other stuff - not bad!How do you like the flight model and the feature set? How's the sounds? Do the sounds compare to Frolov's Dash-8 sounds? Thanks again for your feedback!Sincerely,Dennis D. Mullert Sincerely, Dennis D. August 8, 200421 yr Yes they have a sale so if you're looking nows the time.I bought the plane for FS 2002 and then won the CD version from Just Flight with numerous liveries. I just upgraded the PSS to FS9 several months ago. The VC is not clickable. Other than that it's a pleasure to fly and compares more than favourably with the freeware Dash 8.
August 10, 200421 yr The ONLY reason you would purchase the PSS Dash 8 (even at 50% off) is to merge the visual model and VC with the freeware Fanda Dash 8. The fanda dash 8 is light years ahead of the PSS offering in all areas except the visual model/VC and the Fanda sounds have to be the best ever produced for a FS aircraft.Bruce Bruce Bartlett Frodo: "I wish none of this had happened." Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."

MullertDennis, I too have the CD version from just flight, the version for FS2002 (updated to FS2004). I love the PSS Dash 8. Maybe my favorite plane to fly. The FM is great as well as the sounds. It has a pretty cool FMC too.The only thing it lacks is the systems that the Fanda dash has implemented. It's not PMDG 737NG quality but it is pretty cool.XP Home SP1Asus P4P800-SE Intel 3.0GHZDDR 400 D/C 2x512MBGeForce FX 5700 256MB (56.72)SB AudigyMSFF2 & X45 throttleSee you in the fence...CYYZ Al Stiff
