I have been thinking about purchasing ASE but I'm still flying FS2004, on an ancient computer, while using Windows XP. I do plan on upgrading my system sometime this year, probably this spring, but was wondering if ASE is exclusive to FSX or can one still use it in FS9 and a 32 bit platform without much trouble?

Bill, ASE is for both FSX and FS9, I was running it in a 32 bit system until a few years ago, it recommends Windows XP or better. Mind you, if you are updating your system, you really should consider a 64 bit system if your funds will allow it.
