Insert destination ICAO

Featured Replies

How can insert the destination ICAO in Opus? I have been seeing the documentation but doesn't find it.

On your first screen click on the weather tab which is on the right side right below the spy tab. On the next screen under Dynamic Live Weather you'll see a couple of empty spaces towards the top left to fill in with your destination and cruise altitudes. This is where you input your destination ICAO and you can also enter up to 4 alternate airports. Hope that helps.

Thanks!

Is Opus actually the best way to inject weather?

I use EZCA for views. Is better to use Opus for views too?

You're welcome! I just bought OPUS a couple days ago, so it's like a new drug for me on the weather injection front lol. I'm still using EZDOK for views like yourself Jose, so I can't really be the judge of that. I may try out OPUS camera views eventually. I know many others have made the switch from EZDOK views to OPUS as they say it's much easier to set up the cameras.

  • 3 weeks later...

Would it be possible for opus to automatically read the destination and alternates from a flight plan? I'm thinking of tighter integration with pfpx specifically (when it's realeased)
