Something have happened to the forum and the 'go to latest unread post' button have disappeared from the thread lists. This is quite unfortunate, as it is by far the best way to read a thread IMO. A simple click on the little star/bullet marker would have taken me to the latest unread in a thread, now I have to browser through the entire thread to find the last post I've read. It's kinda time consuming

Any plans on bringing back this most useful feature of forum softwares back to AVSim?

Clicking on the topic title now has the same effect.

 

Edit: I could be wrong. While the function seems to be there, the results are not as expected.

I miss that "unread post button" feature as well and hope it can be restored.

 

In the mean time I found that if you hover your cursor over the post title a pop-up box comes up and in the lower section has two buttons labeled "View latest unread" and "Mark as read".

 

While this present arrangement does work, I much prefer the previous quick and easy unread post button and as I said above hope it can be implemented under the current layout.

Looks like it's back now. Also looks like some functions may not work quite the same, but at least this one does. Thanks, Avsim, I would have missed this feature a lot.
