Who's using Experrience X?

Featured Replies

There was a long and detailed thread about ExperienceX a while back. I haven't heard anything about it since. I'm wondering who's using it and what you think about it.

I was using it, but the hit on frames was so bad that I uninstalled it. For example, I was hitting low to mid 20's in Minneapolis/St. Paul (a large but frame friendly airport). When I disabled Experience X, the frames went to the mid 40's. At JFK I was getting low 20's, afterwards about 30 frames. The effect was really nice, but it wasn't a tradeoff I was willing to accept.

You have 2 solutions to get better FPS with Experience X:

1. don't install highway lights

2. if you do, be sure to use lights distance 200-300 meters or more.

Current system: ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4, Intel 12900k, 32GB RAM @ 3600mhz, Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity, M2 SSD, Oculus Quest 2.
