January 19, 201313 yr Hi everyone! I'm having problem with menu bar resolution. I bought prepar3d yesterday and I've been installing addons. In the morning I launched prepar3d and suddenly menu bar resolution got lower, altough display resolution is set to 1680x1050 (which is my monitors resolution). And I just can't fix it. Tried deleting prepar3d.cfg, even reinstalling prepar3d and deleting everything related to it. Another strange thing I noticed is that no matter what display resolution I set it will always remain the same, 1680x1050 for airplane textures etc, but lower resolution for menu bar. This is screenshot from fresh install of prepar3d and as you can see menu bar resolution is low.
January 19, 201313 yr Author Solved it lol. Had to set default 3d application settings in AMD CCC and that's all.
January 21, 201313 yr Hiya I suffer the same problem, at 1900 x resolution, but it seems to be better if I run at 1600 x At 1600 x when I go into full screen, it still reverts to the almost unreadable small print. I am an ATI user and have mip mapping set at quality, and other CCC settings at default I have no solution to offer, and suppose it's an ATI-thing. Best wishes, Phil
January 21, 201313 yr Some AA settings tend to blur the menu text with Nvidia cards, so that may be one reason.
January 25, 201313 yr SS gives much better picture clarity, especially with Nvidia cards via Nvidia Inspector (Sparse Grid Supersampling). I already reported this to the P3D team, but I don't think this has any kind of priority. SGSS works just fine and doesn't cause any problems, at least for me. It is the normal SS that blurs the menu (for example 8S setting). I'm quite fine with just 4xMS + 4xSGSS and my menus stay fine.
April 23, 201412 yr so guys i am using an nvidia card and haven't applied any nvidia inspector settings to p3d, so how can i get my text to show correct? its blurred as well
