i'll try to find solution for you, please make sure you've done everything correctly. it works fine on my fsx. You can try this:

 

delete the entry from [Window00] in panel.cfg and leave only in the [VCockpit01] section

It works. But when I press "F2", I have to press "i" together.

Gonna try it out! Tried the instructions process....took quite a minute. Only got the effect in one wing and on the 747 got effect from front wheel back. Looked horrible. Both came on/off by switching "Wing Light" By the Nav (strobe) lights area.
