i just downloaded the freeware mauritius aiport.

the problem is the airport is in the air

Do you have any other commercial/freeware scenery in the area? How high is it in the air? Might be your texture resolution slider is too high. Make sure it is located at the top of the Scenery Library.

I had the same problem...it is a difficult scenery to get working correctly. Make sure you read the 'read me' carefully and follow the instructions it provides!
