Did some search but couldn't find any tweaks for this.

 

Approaching MMMX the sim becomes a slideshow, I almost crashed on landing.

 

I tried with default airport, and with taxi2gate.

I also tried those combinations with DX10 or DX9 and not much difference.

 

I DO have GEX/UTX installed though, but with lights off.

 

Anyone else have problems in this area and know any scenery files to delete to fix it or any tweaks?

I departed MMMX with the PMDG MD-11 a week ago and I did not notice any performance issues. I used the default scenery, and maybe I had applied a AFCAD update from Avsim library, that I cannot remember. If there is a fairly new update to MMMX I have applied it.

If you are using ultimate terrain in that area you need to reduce road traffic to main roads only.That usually does the trick.

I tweaked UTX bridges and roads (I already had traffic off) and managed to get a substantial jump in frames and smoothness.

 

I wasn't aware UTX had such a big hit, might improve my performance around London too.
