You're probabley right on the airport although I have been unsuccessful in updating the fsx bgl with ade 170. However the river and lakes further north are all plateaued. Be interesting so see what you find. Mike

Hi No often you find an error in this great frreeware add on but the Mil airport SPIL and river and lakes some 12 miles to the north are on plateaus about 1600 ft above ground. Don't know that i personally may ever see this again but i will let you know as you may wish to be aware. Only use yopur mesh and no add ons in south America to note. Thanks Mike P

thanks . i have the milviz radar and have managed to get it going. But the instructions from Flysimware that I referred to are actually incorrect. However the fault lay with missing files, nothing to do with Flysimware. Now all working well. Thanks for the help Mike.

hi All Having purchased and installed wx advantage radar all I am getting is a black window square when pressing Alt+8. There is a reference on the Flysimware Learjet website "When selecting our aircraft in the sim they will have these tag names: "RDR_GNS" or "RDR_GTN". Mine only have RDR/GNS etc,which are the models to use when you don't have wx advantage radar. Can anyone who has successfully installed this program be of any help ie is there some instruction I have missed Many thanks Mike.

Is there a wa\y to resize the pop up gps as you are able to do on most aircraft. The one on the learjet I find far too large.

Since updating to the latest version on start up i keep getting a warning box telling me to check relevant voice packs are installed otherwise default will be used and I have to click on Yes several times to shift it before I can continue. Northing has changed from my end so why is this happening and how can I fix it. Thanks Mike

Autopilot seems ok with exception Altitude will not set, nor vnav/Lnav. Comm/nav radios seem ok- Flaps buggy should be 1/5/15/20/30 but only respond to 18/22/28/32=Flaps up ok-lights ok-so not too much to do I think but I'm no expert. Mike

Aerosim 787 was mentioned back in 2013 but obviously wasn't a popular aircraft. However I like it and put it forward again as we have no other B787 to date that I am aware of. Thanks for your great work anyway. Cheers Mike

It would be helpful if you could get Pc Aviator to update their download link . Currently they are still showing 1.7 and version 1.9 was released several days ago. A better way of dealing with these frequent updates is needed. You go through the pain of making the learjet continually better and risk customers downloading a version which may fail in some way even though you have already corrected the problem in a later version. thanks MJP

196 files are correct and I am activating the correct config in Program data\microsoft\ fsx. But many thanksks for your thoughts and ideas. MJP

Nothing new in that area at all, unfortunately and I unchecked all my addon sceneries to check just that but no joy. It is a mystery and i'm usually pretty good at sorting out problems. i just cann't get my head around this one, but thanks for the pointer. Mjp

Very strange one here in that although the area 0303 is active in the scenery config. no airports in that area will load, fsx just freezes. I have reinstalled that area from a back up copy \i always keep for emergencies but still no joy. I cann't figure out what could be causing it. Flying over that area there are no textures but there is a land mass. Anyone have any ideas. I would be grateful . Many Thanks Mjleprix

I use Active sky Next with Ideal flight. With active flight set to real weather and the weather engine switched off in Ideal flight. it works very well so far. But as long as weather in ideal Flight turned Off you could use fsx own live weather or any other 3rd party weather engine i presume. So even if you make the same flight again in Ideal flight weather will be different each time. Cheers Mike p

When you open UTX US If you Press CTR + r I think it is UTX checks for double scenery entries and errors, and could solve your problem. If it is not CTR + R try W. I don't use utx now and cann't quite remember.

I doubt very much that the operating system has anything to do with FSX crashing. Have you installed some add ons to FSX or are we talking about a virgin install. If you have recently installed some extra scenery, try removing it and restarting. First thoughts Mike P

If you are using ultimate terrain in that area you need to reduce road traffic to main roads only.That usually does the trick. Regards Mike P

Have you updated the afcad file using ADe at all because when you recompile you can sometimes lose the buildings in the process. However that would have no bearing on all the other airports. Mike P

Tried it but didn't change the blocky lights on the aircraft which I was flying AI aircraft OK and runway lights ok. I notice you had no aircraft lights operational on the aircraft in pictures. It seems to be OK in Miami X Ground textures etc but in Latin VFR Kmia the grey syndrome applies except during day. Thanks Mike
