Featured Replies

Running a 680gtx . can anyone advise if I should have anti aliasing ticked in fsx and what would be the recommended setting in nvidia inspector ?

Done a bit if searching but can't seem to find the answer.

There used to be a great guide on this forum made by Word Not Allowed but it's been replaced with a pdf that's not that great imho... Luckily Word Not Allowed also posted the guide on his blog:

Reading around the forums some bods say it makes no difference!

Hi I've read Kostas guide but more interested in the settings in

Nvidia inspector and if should be ticked or not in fsx

I find hard to tell the difference but my eyes have suffered a bit in last couple of years :-(

Important that text is very clear for me

I seem to recall reading sinewhere you must still have it ticked in fsx even if nvinpector is controlling it?

Currently I don't have if ticked

Thanks

If I don't check AA in FSX, my VC's have obvious aliasing. This is regardless of my Nvidia settings. So checking AA in FSX has some impact, at least for me.

If you have it controlled in inspector then it really doesnt matter what setting you have in FSX. Some people like leaving it unchecked in FSX so they can tell if the inspector settings are not working.
