no vsp'on PFD

Featured Replies

Hi

What a wonderful aircraft, however my problem is simply, after power up, and, FMC programming, the v1,vr,v2,speeds are not

transfered to the PFD.. tried different flight plans , same issue. My copy of the aircraft is an uptodate Aerosoft CD,with the sp1c incorporated, have also reinstalled the aircraft twice with same issue.

My system;- Win 7 home premium 64bits , Intel i7 2600k 3.4Ghz, corsair 8Gb, Nvidia GTX 580.

Any ideas or suggestions appreciated.

Did you actually enter the Vspeeds into the FMC, using the 1R, 2R and 3R LSKs on the TAKEOFF REF page? If you did, then I'd suggest you post some screenshots of your instrument panel and relevant FMC pages, so people can get a look at what's going on.

make sure you hit "execute" after filling the PERF INIT page.

Hi,

Thanks for comments, and, yes all VRspeeds are entered on the CDU,and, all activated with the execute button, herewith two screenshots :-

Screenshots did not upload - here is another attempt

can you upload a photo of your "perf init" page?

I noticed that in your latest picture, the Vspeeds are displayed on the PFD speed tape. Is there anything you did differently to bring that about?

Looks to me that the "Route" was not executed. Notice the exc light illuminated in the second to last screen shot, and extinguished in the last pic.

To the OP, always set your route page first before perf, and make sure you exec to confirm changes. If you set up everything as in tutorial #1 & #2 you won't miss a vital step.

Hi guys,

Looks like my sequence of programming the FMC was at fault as illustrated by last last screenshot.

Many thanks for your help...and patience.
