Hi again Having started this thread, I decided to check KMCO on my other OS running FSX, and trees are evident all over the airport there too, I have ORBX LC, Global, Vector, regions etc on both. I since shelled out on T2G KMCO, my first scenery addon from that team, and am simply delighted with their product, superb detail throughout, and excellent performance.

Sorry mistaken still persists.

Hi The default airport is covered with autogen trees, no conflicting addons for KMCO, running v3.1. anyone experienced this issue. Mike King

Hi, Just delete two bgl's from the Scenery world/scenery folder:- FTX_ENG_EGJJ__elevation adjustment & FTX_ENG_EGJB_elevation adjustment, leave the EGJA untouched. FSX & P3D Mike

Hi, The latest update has caused elevation problems with the Channel Island airports, which can not be corrected with the Vector elevation configurator, this is in FSX. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Regards Mike

Hello, Having just downloaded the latest Orbx libraries, with the new FTX Central 2 incorporated, I discover there is an updated version of YBCS available , so I have to uninstall from FSX in order to download and install the new, am I right in thinking the procedure for doing this is:- 1. Delete YBCS from the FSX scenery library...no matter its position in scenery order 2. Manually delete YBCS folder from ORBX,FTX AU folder 3. Manually delete cpl_ybcs & scenerylib ybcs from the ORBX scripts folder 4. Manually delete ybcs from the ORBX user guide folder Advise appreciated Regards Mike Michael King

Hi Tom, Posed that question to Aerosoft, they confirmed:- 1 Uninstall 600/70 2 Install 600/700 d/load from PMDG 3 Uninstall CDROM 800/900 4 Install CDROM 800/90 5 Patch if 600/700 display no gauges. However this is not updating 800/900 to the latest sp d version a little misleading to say the least. Regards Mike Michael King

Hi, The number that's required to obtain the update from Aerosoft on the shown dialog box is your login support database key, if you cant find request another from Aerosoft.. Regards Mike Michael King

Hello again Clive, If you decided to change to a widescreen monitor the higher aspect ratios offered would provide greater detail and clarity I understand than the standard A/R I currently use... and you would need to purchase Peter Dowson's great tool "widescreen"., but given PMDG's high standard of textures overall in the 737NGX, I've not been tempted to upgrade.......yet. Hello Clive, I have been enjoying the 737NGX on my 19" 4.3 aspect ratio monitor with a resolution of 1280 x 1024 for the past couple of years, truly excellent and no viewing issues, I have not yet gone to a widescreen monitor but I am sure that would be a greater panoramic experience. I sometimes use Track IR, but more often than not find the spacebar and mouse useage more convenient, personal preference and all that. Regards Mike Michael King

Hi Paul, I'm in the same position as you regarding 800/900 purchased from Aerosoft, and the 600/700 purchased direct from PMDG. The info eminating from PMDG, is that Aerosoft will be updating the boxed version very shortly, so logically ignore the updating advise in the operations centre about downloading the 600/700 series, until the Aerosoft have done their stuff, Regards Mike

Hello, I am experiencing an elevation problem, ie sunken runways, with the addon ORBX NZQN Queenstown, has anyone had the same problem, I of course have the ORBX New Zealand scenery,the FSX Central Orbx sceneries are correctly positioned below other addons , all other ORBX Oceanic, North American & European function faultlessly. Thanks for your comments Dan, If and when I get a freeze again, I'll do as you suggest and let it hopefully thaw. Many thanks for pointing me to Intro 0.00,35, which I had not taken on board, even though PMDG had taken the trouble to explain this issue in the manual.............whose got a red face? Hello Dan, Thanks for your input its not a CTD, just a freeze up ,with no error messages or OOM's, to be honest I have never stayed with the sim to ascertain if its temporary or not. Hi Guys, I am thoroughly enjoying flying both 777LR & ER , absolutely excellent aircraft, however, I believe I am getting a problem using time compression, although using the recommended manual method, on two occasions while making a European to stateside flight my computer has froze on me....annoyingly 80% into the flights, I have been monitoring VAS usage through Peter Dowson's software which has shown I have at least 1GB free VAS just prior to freeze up, freeze up happening while at times 4 speed. I'm also pretty selective using the time compression reverting to normal time at heading changes, although the manual does not deem it necessary. Any thoughts appreciated. Windows 7, Intel i7 2600, 3.4Ghz, Nvidia GTX 580, 8Gb Corsair memory

Like some previous threads I have not succumbed to FTX Global or Vector, although I have the FTX Oceanic and North American addons which are great, particularly for VFR flying. I also purchased England, Wales and Scotland FTX products, my theatre of operations being mainly in Europe, although the UK scenery has a great deal of topographical accuracy, I find the overall scenery bland and uninteresting. so much so that I more often revert to default texures which are enhanced by Aime Leclercq's excellent freeware textures, and UTX Europe.
