I have the boxed Aerosoft version on the NGX 800/900 & the 600/700 bought direct from PMDG. With regard to installing the newest updates, which is the best course of action? Install the anticipated Aerosoft update for the 800/900, then the 600/700 installer or will the newest 600/700 exe cover the four variants?

Hi Paul,

I'm in the same position as you regarding 800/900 purchased from  Aerosoft, and the  600/700 purchased direct from PMDG. The info eminating from PMDG, is that Aerosoft  will be updating the boxed version very shortly, so logically ignore the updating advise in the operations centre about downloading the 600/700 series, until the Aerosoft  have done their stuff,

As far as I know, the base package needs to be updated before updating the expansions.

Wait to install the Aerosoft update. Don't install the 600/700 until then.
