sure. i've been twice to Jordan and numeus time to Egypt, but thats because we have peace agriment with them.

i live and have a buisness in Tel-Aviv, and i had quite few customers that were traveling the midle-east, and had no problem(as i recall) getting in to Israel with those stamps. about the rest of this conversation, for me it is interesting reading here your perspective

look at prog page on fmc. you should see there the destination airport icao, and next to it the eta and distance to it.

hello. usually you sould put the next restriction given to you by ATC. they will instract you something like "decent and maintain FL180", so you enter 18000 to the MCP, and so on. Giora

hi everyone. i know there were few topics on that, but nothing i could find to give cleare answer. is there a way to change the default gate assigment i get from ATC? i keep getting the same gate (the most "boaring" and isolated one) everytime . there must be some kind of CFG manipulation that can help. thank Giora

I see that i loose oil (hyd and engine) during a flight. What should i do with rhis information? Sometimes i get to around 68% in one of the hyd sys. Is this normal?

Did you set the fmc speeds? It seems you donthave speeds on fmc

Jeremy, i think that the best thing for you is to do the tutorials provided with the ngx, especialy no.2 . It has a lot of explenations about the fmc. It is the best way to lern the plane. Do it twice

Hi jeremy. This is the way i plan a route, maby you will find it usefull: 1. Go to http://www.vataware.com/ , click "top routes" and find a route between the airports you need. Copy the route string. 2. Go to http://www.simroutes.com/fb2/AccountRetrieve.aspx . Click "generate route". Write the origin and destination. Paste the route string in the big text box in the middle. Generate route. Therse an option to save the route in few formats. Save it to youre desktop in pmdg format. 3. Move the saved file to fsx/pmdg/flightplans/ngx directory. Now youcan upload it in the fmc. 4. For sid stars just google "klax charts", as an example. Most of times you will find a pdf with all procedures you need. Find one that comes or goes to the direction you need. Usualy it will have the name of the first point in your route (in sid). Just make sure you have an updated nav data in your fmc. 5. Note this- atc always will mess your plans in fsx! If you plan to fly real sid stars dont file ifr route. Just go vfr. Or get some kind of atc addon. 6. To get an idea of the active runway at your destination you will need one of the weather addons, they have that information presented. Or wait untill you are aboute 30 nm from destination and listen to atis. Hope it makes sense.. Giora

each livery has its own tail number, so it has its own counter of time. this is why i fly only one livery (swiss) , couse i want to see how many failures i will get in a 250 hours , before needing to do maitanens. i have now about 160 hours left to maitanens, and so far only a couple of breaks high temp incidents. i also work with the QRH on a tablet. very comfortable.

yes ,i do, but when i try stuff in the air and break something, fsx says something like "plane crash" and very quicly restarts. i cant tell if what i did broke the fuselage, tail or landing gear. how will a crash efect fsrecorder? maby that will be helpful

in an ocation of a crash, how can you know the reason for that? i mean, you fly, approaching landing or just cruzing, and then you crash (hipoteticly) . fsx gives you the green stripe saying you crashed (for a couple of seconds), and restarts the flight. how can you investigate it more? thanks

so should i set lower alt the the real airport's alt?

ok, i did the same flight again, sao-paolo to la-paz. crz level 38000, and step to 40000, then decent to the runway at about 13000. all went well until about 23,000 at the decent- then the beeping started. this is the situation at that moment. any ideas?
