September 8, 201213 yr No cautions, no warnings visible anywhere however the last two flights have generated a beep beep beep warning that lasts until I shut down. The beep warning is similar to that of throttle advancement when not in take off config. Anyone had a similar issue? Maybe I need to reinstall? Jas Jaseman. Lovin it up here........ September 8, 201213 yr No need to re-install. its simply your radio recieving morse code from NAV Beacons. Turn it off and you will see. Peter Osborn
September 8, 201213 yr No it's the pressurization warning, pressurize the aircraft or descend below 10000fts. Regards Andrea Daviero
September 9, 201213 yr Author If its a pressurization warning wouldn't I get a warning advice? There is nothing and today it simply beeped away for 15 mins then all of a sudden stopped? Jas Jaseman. Lovin it up here........ Catch us over at MassieSim32 -> https://discord.gg/B4buuHGhcr
September 9, 201213 yr I remember landing at a high altitude airport and as soon as i touched down i got the cabin pressure warning. It is the only warning that i know of that is similar to the takeoff config warning when you advance the throttles as you said. Next time you hear it, look at the cabin altitude panel on the overhead, find the warning horn override button and press it, if it stops, then thats your problem. September 9, 201213 yr There is no light (it is an optional installation avaiable from boeing for real planes, not modeled on the ngx) and no master caution activation until 14000ft are passed, (OXY ON) and AIR COND at over 15000 fts when AUTO FAIL light comes on. What causes it? Cabin altitude going over 10000fts. This could happen when the pressurization system is not working for either packs not active or outflow valve not closed and outside barometric altitude is over 10000fts. Check: Packs (must be on) Engine bleeds (must be on) Pressurization panel (AUTO with no failures) If you land over 10000fts it will sound as the outflow valve will open. I don't think you're landing on those airfields, so the problem is related mostly to the above conditions. Regards Andrea Daviero
September 9, 201213 yr Hi Jas I have experienced (and am experiencing for that) the same problem. In my occasion it was when I was trying approaches on Paro airport (VPQR). It's a high altitude airport (minimums are about 12000 feet). It happens to me when I load the aircraft not from cold and dark and not set the pressurizzation panel. Hope it helps Matteo Capocefalo MED1473
September 9, 201213 yr It's a high altitude airport (minimums are about 12000 feet) But elevation is 7300. Anyway you must do procedures described in FCOM vol1, pages SP.2.4 and further. Rostyslav S Wanna fly 737NGX with turbulence?
September 9, 201213 yr i had the same issue last night. was approaching la-paz sllp for landing, and almost from TD point i got the alarm, until shutdown. no lights at all. all aircondition was set normal (as far as i see).
September 9, 201213 yr yeah just make sure you input your alititude cruz in the OHP and the airport elevation of the destination airport i think that will help . If you have FS2CREW this will be done automatically for you
September 9, 201213 yr Author Thanks everyone for your info. I will be climbing back into the cockpit tomorrow night and will check out the press procedures prior to flight. Hope it helps. Fingers crossed. Jas Jaseman. Lovin it up here........ Catch us over at MassieSim32 -> https://discord.gg/B4buuHGhcr

September 9, 201213 yr yeah just make sure you input your alititude cruz in the OHP and the airport elevation of the destination airport i think that will help . If you have FS2CREW this will be done automatically for you A wrong set pressurization panel values will not turn the alarm, will only cause some passenger comfort issues or panel automatic shut down (AUTO FAIL) if vertical speed in the cabin becomes too high. Anyway it will never turn the alarm on. A lot of people thinks about this, but always take in mind that the pressurization system is designed to prevent hypoxia when it works, cabin will never reach unsafe values unless packs are off or controllers/valve are failed. Regards Andrea Daviero
September 9, 201213 yr i will have to check it again tomorow, but as far as i remember the altitudes were set correctly on the overhead panel. what i did notice is that fuel temp was a bit lower then usualy. could it have anything to do with this? i couldnt find anything usefull in the QRH
September 9, 201213 yr A troubleshooting video for all those odd "alarms"... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F24fu46qLkQ Priceless . You Sir, have made my day. Now to figure out how to replace boring Boeing alarm with chorus from this tune. Steve Inwood, are you still here? Dmitrij Nazarenko
