  1. Hi Everyone, As the title states, I have some interesting airports for you. Yonphulla Airport and Bumthang Airport in Bhutan. Druk Air (operating ATR-42-500) and Tashi Air (operating Pilatus PC-12) both have domestic flights to the airports. I was wondering if anybody knows the unique procedures of these two airports and are there any addon scenery for these airports (for FSX). OR even better, it will be very nice of you guys to create a addon scenery for these fabulous airports! Here are the ONLY two videos containing landings of the two airports from cockpit view: ENJOY! and
  2. Hi guys, I'm enjoying the PMDG 737 NGX since the first hour. But since a few flights I got a very annoying problem. When I'm crusing everything is fine, until some sounds makes a annoying 'beep-beep-beep' sound. I checked everything and I think the best I can do is post pictures of it: This is a picture of the upper overhead. My master caution panel says in orange: OVERHEAD Then, when I cut the sound off by clicking on the ALT HORN cutout (http://www.b737.org..../dcpcspanel.jpg) everything seems fine, except the PASS OXY ON warning on the first picture. After several minutes the same 'warning' happens, only this time without sound (because I ignored it last time). This time, my master caution panel says: and my presurrisation changed into this (AUTO FAIL): So it has something to do with presurrisation. I hope someone can tell me exactly the problem, and how I can avoid it in the future. Regards,
  3. Hi, hope the beacon lights and strobes will be a little bit better after the sp1, because in fact they're not really nice and realistic. The beacon lights normally on 737 NG aircrafts light up the engine cowls and the winglets ( reflection ). Hope they did it in the upcoming sp1 and the strobes could be a little bit brighter.Well, PMDG is my favourite addon creator!Best regards, Tom
  4. Hi Everyone, I recently heard of the Nepalese airline Buddha Air. Turns out it has a good flight record, and is a good airline. In my humble opinion, I think that Premier Aircraft Design makes really good flight models and VCs as a freeware. I have learned that the current Buddha Air fleet has the Beachcraft 1900D, and Premier Aircraft Design also has the B1900D. So I really want a "Buddha Air Beachcraft 1900D" for the Premier Aircraft Design model. Since I do not have any past experience in repainting aircrafts, any help would be much appreciated!!! (I don't mind what registration you do, 9N-AEE is good as shown below!) THANKS A LOT!!!
  5. hi i have a laptop and am thinking of getting a new one, well new to me budget 300 pounds maybe a little more was going to get a windows based laptop, but then i though oh why not an apple macbook, thing is i wondering what i would need to run xplane 9 or 10. i think a Apple MacBook Air 13.3" Laptop - 2.13ghz MC234LL/A (June 2009) is within my budget but should i go for say a DELL E6410 CORE i5 LAPTOP 2.7GHZ 4GB 320GB if anyone has a view on which laptop to run xplane 9 or 10, i would prefer 10 but i dont think i have money to buy the hardware if all is equal i should have an apple as i have an ipad and an iphone thanks

  7. WinAirVirtual is a Virtual Airline deticated to providing realism, fun, and experience, based off of the operations of WinAir in the caribbean. We are looking at a long term goal of joining VATSIM! You you are intrested in joining our Virtual Airline feel free to come see our website at Winwardva.webs.com Come Fly with Us!
  8. TexAir Virtual Airlines is focused on simulating an imagined world-class, legacy-style air carrier rooted deeply in its Texas heritage. We are a friendly, family-like gathering of virtual aviators intent on keeping things relaxed, but also realistic. We are pilot-centric in that we prefer not to simulate the 'corporate' side of an airline, focusing only on the daily operation itself. Lastly, our growth is entirely dependent on pilot interest and contributions. We do not grow unless our community of pilots wants us to grow, by growing itself and showing genuine interest. http://www.texairvirtual.org
  9. With the 737 on the FSX I'm facing this odd problem the last time: I start the engines with the APU as normal, the starters cuts out and I can switch on the engine generators. But they won't produce any bleed air and they won't react on my throttle inputs, while the thrust levers are moving and the takeoff configuration warning horn sounds. Another odd fact: The are only at an idle n1 of about 20 %. If I save this panel state and reload it, I got an engine failure and they have miraculously stopped. PMDG Setup also says, there are no active failures. Even if I restart them they won't react, but sometimes, if I choose another livery or hitting <control>+<E> helps. (I'm aware of the isolation valve and packs should be off while starting etc.) Any suggestions?
  10. BudgetAir is a virtual airline with its main base at Amsterdam Schiphol (EHAM) airport focused on creating a fun & relaxed atmosphere for enthusiasts of Flight Simulation software in which they can enjoy their hobby. There have been hundreds of virtual airlines over the years. Many will be direct replicas of real world airlines, flag carriers and the like. They will be tied to the aircraft fleet, hubs and schedules of their real world counterparts. Our operations here at the BudgetAir are based on real world scenarios but as we exist only here in the virtual world we are free to use, extend and explore the whole world, creating a fleet that serves the diverse preferences of our pilots, schedules that encompass the very best in available scenery and destinations that bring a mixture of both the serene and the challenging landing at the world`s largest and smallest airports. As a Management Team we will provide you with tools such as premade flight plans to go in all the various aircraft type Flight Management Computers, our ACARS pilot reporting system and a host of other tailor made downloads to make your flights with us "as real as it gets". The choice of when you fly, which flight you want to undertake and even how long you want to "pause" it due to real world interruptions, is entirely yours. This is a hobby and we want you to enjoy it your way so maximum landing rates, pause times or fly "from where you land" rules will never exist in BudgetAir! We pride ourselves in welcoming member pilots of every level and diverse flight simulator choice. Most of our pilots use Microsoft FSX or FS9 simulators but we equally welcome those who have already migrated to Prepar3D and X-Plane. Our crews are made up of "old hands" with thousands of hours FS experience to literal newcomers taking their first steps in this fascinating hobby. They come from nations across the globe, helping each other and simply enjoying the BudgetAir community. However our principal motto we live by is "MINIMUM RULES - MAXIMUM FUN" All we ask is be helpful to others and most importantly - ENJOY YOURSELF! Visit us at www.budgetair-va.com

  12. Just browsing the rest of AVSIM since MSFLIGHT is going down under and was really hoping for more participation in DCS. I know that you guys play it(well some) but there is absolutely no content here or articles, videos and try this/try that posts. I just bought this from STEAM SUMMER Sale and imma fire it up this weekend. It looks very tough(as I am not a pilot and consider myself a n00b when it comes to flight simming) Anyways, I am excited to give it a shot and hoping multiplayer is active **Edit: Okay, I did find some of you guys here http://forum.avsim.n.../529-dcs-world/
  13. Hello, are your external animations like flaps, spoilers, reverse thrust totally smooth? Mine are a little choppy and the flap sequences are not totally smooth.
