  1. Hi guys, I'm enjoying the PMDG 737 NGX since the first hour. But since a few flights I got a very annoying problem. When I'm crusing everything is fine, until some sounds makes a annoying 'beep-beep-beep' sound. I checked everything and I think the best I can do is post pictures of it: This is a picture of the upper overhead. My master caution panel says in orange: OVERHEAD Then, when I cut the sound off by clicking on the ALT HORN cutout (http://www.b737.org..../dcpcspanel.jpg) everything seems fine, except the PASS OXY ON warning on the first picture. After several minutes the same 'warning' happens, only this time without sound (because I ignored it last time). This time, my master caution panel says: and my presurrisation changed into this (AUTO FAIL): So it has something to do with presurrisation. I hope someone can tell me exactly the problem, and how I can avoid it in the future. Regards,
  2. First, let me congratulate the team on this work-of-art production in the shape of an FS addon. Simply fantastic! Still, there are some tiny glitches I'm quite certain you're aware of, I'd just like to list the ones in this thread I've found/experienced so far - note that I haven't completed a full flight yet, so more might follow. 1. The already reported sudden 'jerk' upon heading select (dedicated thread here)2. MTOW showing 79.2 kg in the FMS for the 738, according to the FCOM weights (provided those are modeled) it should read 70.5. It is showing the 739's max taxi weight.3. Can't arm LNAV on the ground although everything is set up accordingly (dedicated thread here) Ryan, please if you could add these to your issue tracking thread. Thanks, Robert Posch
  3. Dear Flightsimmers This is a warning if you want to buy products from Simtechdesign.com. I have ordered several Precision Flight Control thotlle systems but till now(3 months later) still received nothing . My order (€ 1398,37) is paid by credit card. Several emails are written on the delivery but every time they turn on with fairy tales and untruths. Also the promised repayment is still nothing came of it. Promising everything but nothing happens . My credit card company commissioned for a refund action. Regards Jo va Bra
  4. This needs the GPWS warning system for the planes including the 'woop woop, pull up' sound. ALSO I beg for you guys to light up the cockpit in planes at nightime because it is too dark
  5. Just wondering if there was a patch for a J41 overspeed clacker. I've been caught by overspeed a few times...haven't heard any sound. It's in the AOM and with all the other warning sounds and voices, it seems like an important noise. I'm still pretty new to the J41, love flying it and I'll get better at watching it but it would be nice to know that a warning has my back.
  6. Hi! I have abig problem. In a random momento when im flying fsx close unexpectly with out any warning or error, the only close without previous warning or freeze. The event viewer of windows dont show any problem, and i have uiautomationcore.dll on my fsx folder, i think that i have the wrong version of this file so 10 minutes ago a replace this file for a correct version but im noy tried fly yet to see the results. Any recommendation to solve this problem, because its really extrange that the sim close without error messages. Thanks for your help!!!
  7. Hello everybody, Being away from home and my P3D for a few months I have to make do with my Macbook Pro in Windows mode running FSX for my ATIS communication training before I enter the Vatsim world. Ever since yesterday tough, flying from EHRD to LOWI I have been getting this warning sound no matter what I do. It seems to be related to either the time lapsed from the beginning of the flight or indeed the altitude (normally above FL 200) All faults have been reseted in the CDU but every time I restart the flight and look in the Aircraft section of the CDU, I find that the brakes fault is active again. Don’t now if this is triggering the warning though. I appreciate your help so please leave a comment if you think you know what this might be. Thanks
  8. Afternoon everyone. I would like to ask the frequent flyers of the PMDG 777 a brief question about approach flap selection. Yesterday, I was just about to start my approach into Frankfurt. I selected flaps 20 in the FMS and verified the selection when I went through the landing checklist on final. However, just a few hundred feet above the ground, the GPWS began to shout at me, "Too low! Flaps!" Of course, this warning prevented the altitude callouts and my landing was quite rough. I've never had this issue when using flaps 25 or 30. Is this a bug or have I missed something?
  9. I have normal flight s with the Phenom 100 and everything tends to be fine until I begin my decent. For some reason I've been getting an alarm tone every 3-5 seconds (well, more like the 'beep' tone that plays when you fire up the Prodigy) that doesn't stop until I land. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why!?!? IT's very frustrating as I'm sure it's something I'm missing and can't be too serious as I'm able to land normally anyway. Unfortunately, I don't have video to help explain this issue. I don't know what it is and hoping someone else has experienced that same tone and can help me fix it. I do fly the Phenom with FSCaptain engaged but, I'm pretty sure it's not FSCaptain. Any help would be great. Thanks
  10. I don't know what's going on, but when I try to go to simHQ(dot)com I just got a placeholder page. At the same time Trend AV pops up a warning, telling me it has blocked malicous code, category dangerous. It tells me that the site www.targetedinfo.com is trying to run the script sk-ckpro.php. Here's what Trend says about the site targetedinfo.com: http://www.targetedinfo.com Is it safe? Dangerous The latest tests indicate that this URL contains malicious software or could defraud visitors. How would you categorize this URL? Spam Sites whose addresses have been found in spam messages Disease Vector Sites that directly or indirectly facilitate the distribution of malicious software or source code I thought I'd forward the warning from Trend AV as it seems pretty serious. I wonder what happened, as everything worked just fine yesterday. There was no notice on the site that it was closing down or anything. Just this today. Kind regards Hans J.
  11. Hi, P3D V4.5 WIN 10 64 BIT Can you advise why I have the above warning, I tried resetting trim on on ground and flight, warning on all time ground /flight. How can I cancel /fix Thanks Charlie McEwan
  12. Occasionally, on spooling up for take off I'm receiving a red flag warning on the upper DU "Stabilizer Configuration". As far as I can tell, everything has been configured correctly including trim. I was not able to locate this problem here in the forum, or in the documentation. Appreciate any assistance. PS: this is in relation to my 777-200 which has all the relevant updates.
  13. Hi, I am new here. I am very experienced in FSX, landed using the ILS approach hundreds of times without any problems. However, after I added some add-on scenery using Airport Design Editor X (to fix ILS offsets), everytime I am established on the localizer (starting to descent automatically), I get a continous irritating beeping warning (is it the flap warning?), after setting flaps to full, lowering the gear and reducing airspeed to 150 knots (using the stock 747). Then when I am very close to the runway, I get a "too low terrain" warning and it hovers above the runway for a while before landing. As it lands, I cannot use the reverse thrust (the keyboard is assigned, tested it before take-off) but only the spoilers. Worse still, the beeping noise is still present, even at 0 speed with parking brake on! Please help! I think there might be a corrupted file in the directory, but how to fix it??? Thanks in advance!
  14. I have recently experienced a problem with the 737NGX pressurization system, entirely my fault: The Pressurization Mode Selector (ironically, PMS) on the Digital Cabin Pressure Control System (DCPCS) was set to Manual. On my initial overhead scan, I completely missed the "MANUAL" light (perhaps because it was green), and continued on. About 3500 meters up, I encountered what sounded like the takeoff configuration aural warning, obviously sparking some confusion. About 5000 up, and the Master Caution appeared, along with "AIR COND" on the Flight Director's recall. Initially, I thought something was wrong with just that -- the air conditioning. I tried tweaking a few knobs, but nothing seemed to work. Then, I looked up at the upper overhead and saw "PASS OXY ON." Uh oh. It clicked then, I had a pressurization error! I had not even thought of it due to the similarities between the Takeoff Configuration aural warning and the Pressurization aural warnings. Since then, I have done a bit more research on the pressurization system in 737s, and noticed a very similar incident to mine: Helios 522. Following that incident, Boeing added a "CABIN ALTITUDE" warning on panels P1 and P3 of the 737, as shown: My question is: Why doesn't the PMDG 737NGX have these lights? Shown below is the current configuration of panel P3: Is there the possibility of these lights being added to clarify an already bad situation?
  15. Just completed a nice flight into Boeing Field. As I made my ILS approach I got a traffic alert warning. I could not shut off the alert warning even after deactivating the TCAS. Even after I landed and started to taxi, the warning continued despite my attempts to shut it off. I'm not sure what triggered it in the first place, but the function is useless if it goes off at any nearby ai traffic (such as boat traffic in Elliott Bay??). Might there be a solution to this? Thanks in advance --WH
