Right, I'm not new to fax however, I used to have it on my PC with windows 7 installed and when I wanted to freely change the locked spot camera I used arrows (up, down, left, right) on my keyboard without the need of pressing SHIFT + Arrows. Now I installed fax on my mac which also runs win7 on bootcamp and I have to hold SHIFT in order to use my arrows as navigation of camera because otherwise the arrows act like controls of the plane (even with mouse enabled) Is there any way of getting this back please? It really annoys me when I have to hold SHIFT plus use arrows plus control the plane = HARD. Thanks for any tips and solutions :) FSX obviously... spellcheck... Sorry.

Hello everyone, I really missed playing MS FS after abandoning PCs many years ago so I thought I'd try to get it up on my Mac and had limited success that I thought I'd shared. I first brought it up on my iMac (5 year old machine; 1 3.3 Ghz Dual Core; Bootcamp with Win 7, did the tweaks mentioned in several places to the OS) and installed FSX with RC and UT2. I got decent graphics performance, with 20FPS until I loaded UT2 and then the AI traffic seemed to really kill things. So I thought (from what I'd read everywhere) that AI cost lots of CPU so I'll install it on my Mac Pro (3 Year old machine; 2 2.66Ghz Quad Core with 16GB of RAM). Turns out, with AI traffic on, I only get about a 10% increase in performance. Again, without AI, I do quite well on FPS with very nice, high settings. So, my next attempt will be to move off of UT2 and try WOAI traffic and see if that improves things. Anyone else have suggestions or stories/experience to share? -- DK

Hi everyone, I haven't been on the forum for a long time, but I decided to step out and start a new topic, as I decided to try myself at livery design. For now I love working pictures on a MacBookPro running on OSX El Capitan. And I was wondering if FSX and PMDG livery designing would be possible on a Mac. PhotoShop exists and is available for Mac for instance, and as I work a lot on Mac, that would be great if I could design liveries on this laptop. Any suggestion, ideas, or advice would be really much, much appreciated. On another side I'm getting bored of seeing always the same liveries made over and over again for the same airlines/aircraft (The Lufthansa 747-8i is just too much to me!) and I'd love to see more FS fun, with original liveries, and creations of my own that I could set available for download on Avsim.... Waiting for your replies! Thanks and Merry Christmas to you all! David

Hi, The Fly! II final patch for the Mac, 2.50.240, seems to have disappeared from the web. Does anybody still have this, and can you make it available? Also, the Fly! II Globe Update patch that fixed coastlines on the English Channel, the Mediterranean, and West Africa only came as a Windows exe. Does anyone have the updated globe.pod after the patch is applied? Thanks.
