Hi, I have a terrible problem. I've downloaded the FSX SP1 and install it. But not succeded. While about 3 minutes remaining, it says : "Error1935. Error occured during installation of assembly "Microsoft.FlightSimulator.Simconnect... bla bla bla... Please refer to help and support for more information". Can anyone help me fix it??? Thanks

Hello I have just installed the Sp1 for the 777 and purchased and installed the 300ER expansion. I performed a test flight around my Fly Tampa Dubai International airport pay ware scenery. When I do this I use the FMC to calculate my V speeds and trim. In order to obtain the V speeds I make a little route going direct from OMDB to DXB, the local VORDME. When I do this I get the magenta line. When I am given my V speeds from the FMC I notice that the magenta line disappears, upon further inspection it disappears precisely when I enter V2 my problem is, after take off at roughly 1500 feet AGL I lose control of the aircraft and all my screens in the cockpit freeze, altitude, speed and attitude stay the same even though I can see from outside the attitude of the aircraft is changing. The Nav screen also stays the same. No matter what I do I can't deflect the controls at all, there is no AP and AT switched on at all. because of my pitch up attitude the aircraft will typically just stall and fall out of the sky. I must reinforce that the game itself does not freeze at all, only the aircraft. I have also done the same test flight around YMML with ORBX scenery with exactly the same result. I can replicate this event every time I have installed the PMDG 777sp1 and 300ER as advised, following the instructions that have been set. I have also tried reinstalling the 777 and sp1 and the 300ER. I have tested and do not have this problem with the RTM 777

Afternoon everyone. I would like to ask the beta testers of the 777 SP1 if they have noticed any performance improvements compared to the current release of the 777. I've always encountered performance issues with this addon and hope that the said issues are remedied with the upcoming update. Let me know. :) Thanks, Stephen Hobson

Hi, on my last two flights i´ve had an issue. The FMC freezes, but this ONLY happens during the cruize phase. It freezes showing the legs page, and no matter how many times i press a button on the FMC, it doesn´t respond. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi, hope the beacon lights and strobes will be a little bit better after the sp1, because in fact they're not really nice and realistic. The beacon lights normally on 737 NG aircrafts light up the engine cowls and the winglets ( reflection ). Hope they did it in the upcoming sp1 and the strobes could be a little bit brighter.Well, PMDG is my favourite addon creator!Best regards, Tom

Hi everybody im new to avsim, the main reason I created this account was to ask this question.....I have a windows 8 dell computer with an i5 and the stock graphics card but that's not the problem because I run fsx perfectly....but I have this weird problem with sp2 that I don't have with sp1. I seem to get better frame rates and no stutters in sp1, but most addons if not all are optimized for sp2 so theres really know other way for me. the main difference is when I put the frame limit to 100, sp1 works perfectly but sp2 theres lag and tear when I pan around the aircraft its so annoying seriously I just don't get it I cant play like that. I definetly know sp2 is causing it no doubt but I just don't know how? if it were for me i'd stay in sp1 but I need sp2 for the addons...if anybody has any ideas, could it be windows 8? please let me know so I can sell my computer and get a vista instead please this is life or death

Hello everybody, I have an important problem because I cannot finish my flights with the 777-300ER (and the 200LR of course) I start the flight without any problem but after around 2-3 hours my FSX crash and ASN too with the "ASN cannot control ambiant weather..." message. I have this message (and the FS crash) also when I request the Altn Wx in the FMC I had update my register FSUIPC version to the lastest version and nothong better Does anyone have an idea ? Beacause I can't fly this aircraft and its weather radar... It's very frustating ! Sorry for my English Erwan

Hi, lately on my flights there´s been an issue that drives me crazy: on the FMC, the estimated fuel for the arrival airport is always going down, it never stops to decrease. This only happens on the SP1 though. I do exactly the same things that I used to do before the SP1 came out. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi, on my latest flights I´ve been experiencing something weird. At the very beginig of the descent, just after reaching the TOD, I get a "drag required" message, even if I am going a bit slow and high on the VNAV Path. Then, fmc speed drops to 0. I disengage the A/P, handfly it a little bit, reset the F/Ds, and then, after a couple of times doing this process, i leave the A/P on, but i control myself the vnav speed, pressing the speed knob. Finally, when I reach FL200, approximately, everything goes back to normal and works as expected. I know it isn´t a pilot error, because before the SP1, I did the same things and procedures, but this didnt happen. Thanks in advance for your help!

Just want to check in and see if anyone else has reported the same condition since installing SP1 for the 777-200LR. Each time I initially load the 777-200LR at any airport (default of 3rd party), my frames and smoothness suffer for a period of around 2-3 minutes. After that period of time elapses, everything goes back to normal in terms of frames and smoothness and no stuttering. This has only happened since installing SP1. This is a dedicated FSX machine, and I have not installed any other software or made any changes to FSX or the PC prior to, or since installing SP1. It seems to me that there is a process or series of processes occurring in FSX's background that are causing this drop and lack of smoothness during the initial 2-3 minute startup at the gate. I have been using the default PMDG startup -> ie: engines ON at the gate. PS: It's not a huge deal breaker, as I have adapted to the situation by just waiting out the 2-3 minutes until everything settles back (ie sit at gate) into normal again. SP1 otherwise has been absolutely phenomenal......utterly pleased with it.

I checked the FCOM V2 but no specific details on "how to use the datalink to update the Flight Number uplink?". I understand how to use the other features of the datalink such as the ALTN Update, Forecast update, etc. Tried manually inserting the FLT Number, but this does not remove the FLT NUMBER UPLINK message. Thanks in advance!

Ever since the SP's were released I have been unable to figure out how to land the T7 properly. I have read the section in the SP1 300ER supplement about fly by wire and the changes to the system. I think I somewhat grasp it but I can't seem to land this airplane properly so I am obviously missing something. I usually disconnect autopilot around 1000 feet and everything is fine up until about 100 feet when the airplane starts to porpoise and at around 50 feet I am pulling up to begin flare and the plane just suddenly drops out of the sky and slams onto the runway. I have adjusted the null zone as suggested but can not seem to change anything in regards to the landing behavior. Any suggestions. I have a Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog configured through FSUIPC and LINDA.

I tried running the SP1 patch as admin on win7 64-bit home premium. Its starts installing but then just disappears and does not complete. Of course, SP1 is required for SP2 installation, so I am stuck. I have already tried installing using the action center and having it install as in xp or vista emulation mode but nothing works.

Is anyone having problems with the SP1 when hitting Divert Now? I'm getting a crash error on FSX and it closes automatically. Any help?

It gets frozen showing the legs page, and it doenst respond when i press and LSK or any other button on it. the rest of the plane works perfectly. The FMC isthe only problem.
