February 13, 201313 yr The main reason he keeps updating the same post is to keep web-links working at other websites on the net. I link to that post all the time in my support role and if the link is constantly changing you end up with lots of dead links and constant checking for what the new link is. He did actually used to post new topics until I asked him to keep using the same post for the reason stated above, so you can blame me if you want, lol. As I said before, why is it so hard to scroll down to the bottom of the post to see the date and time that it was posted, the forum software automatically updates the edited post date in the footer and Pete himself types the date and version number in the body of the post at the end too.
