FSGlobal, UTX and GEX install order

Recommended Posts

I am aware that mesh, landclass and textures are supposed to be installed in that order.

But, if I have UTX and GEX installed for an area, then buy FSGlobal for that area, can I just install the mesh and I will be good, or do I have to remove UTX and GEX and reinstall after mesh?

Thanks,

Morten

Yes, for mesh it doesn't matter when you install it.

Thanks, a few hours saved then :) I will run a full defrag though.

Just remeber to put it at the bottom of your installed sceneries. I've had them at the top though and never had any problems, but a few sceneries out there have custom mesh that would be messed up if you didn't put them below them.

Thanks Simmerhead, I'll keep that in mind.

Regarding price, I could not find any bulk discount, only that you get 1.099 instead of 1.096 version of US GEX if you buy all other GEX'es, but then I might be wrong / inaccurate...
