CTD help

Featured Replies

Hello, today I had a CTD, I've searches the internet and no solution pertains to my problems.

New install,(2 days old).

Upon inspection of the event viewer I received this,

fsx.exe

10.0.61637.0

46fadb14

g2d.dll

10.0.61637.0

46fadb58

c0000005

00045c5c

11bc

01ce0967f20c6605

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exe

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\g2d.dll

54c438ad-755f-11e2-b5a1-a0b3cc6aca37

Specs:

8 GB Ram

Window 7 64 bit

AMD A4-3305 2 Cpus at 1.9 GHz

Info

At first thought it was the ultra-common UIAutomationcore.dll thing, which i fixed yesterday.

Addons

Ultimate Traffic 2

Us airways 767-200er Posky

Frontier a320 Pairbus

Settings are high to ultra high

Lower your FSX sliders. Copy your current FSX.cfg. Now go into FSX and go into your settings. For the Scenery tab, click on restore defaults. For the AI tab, click on restore defaults. See if that fixes the problem. If so, your settings were too high. If not, you can go back restore your fsx with the copy of the fsx.cfg you made.

I would disable UT2 and see if this fixes the problem. If not, remove the Posky aircraft and move the folder to a temporary folder. See if this fixes the problem. If not, Remove the Frontier A320 folder to a temp folder. Check to see if this fixes the problem. Or, do all three suggestions and see if the problem is fixed. If it does stop the errors, enable UT2 and see if the crash returns.

I think your settings are way too high. FSX requires a lot of CPU resources.

Best regards,

Jim
