via copy and attached file doesnot work

Highlight the screenshot, rt-click on it, slide the mouse pointer to the word "Dropbox", a menu will open, then select "Copy public link". Paste that into the post. OK? :smile:

That file is an enormous 2.4 MB because it was much too large and saved as a .png file, it should have been smaller and saved as a .jpg file.

Even if you can't make paint.net work, you can use the default paint\select\rectangular selection tool to select just the part of the screenshot you want to place on the forum.

This is yours, as a .jpg, 204KB.

Those settings will work for you, paula. I hate to say this, but I have tried dozens of Inspector setting combinations, and none seem to have very much noticeable impact on AA in any particular degree. I think it depends upon the combination of your monitor(s), gpu's, it's driver and of course - the Inspector settings. Here are a large selection of Inspector .nip files which I've used, and you can try, (in two or three folders) all recommended by different simflyers. Some work better than others, but in the end, it will come down to personal preference, as it does when using DX9.

 

How about posting your fsx.cfg now?

As unlikely as this may be, I guess that you are not doing what is required to upload a file.

The fsxcfg.txt file is about 8.5kb and the forum file upload size limit is 1.95 mb.

Here is your fsx.fg, Paula, and I don't see a single thing wrong with it, except, perhaps your:

could be 120 instead of 80. You have a moderately powerful system, with a "correct" fsx.cfg for DX10.

 

and - depending upon your processor speed, you might use BufferPools=0 for some better frame rates.

 

If you are still getting BSoD's - download and install Nir-Soft's "BlueScreenView", so that you can see the first parameter, which will point you in the right direction in order to fix the problem.

 

 

i have a last question regarding this issue.in dx9 i have max 30fps with fair weather and 25 fps with major thunderstorm. In dx10 i have also 30fps in fair weather but 18 fps in major thunderstorm. could this be normal? the settings are the same only water i took back 1 but stil the lower 18.
