Prop Issue AI

Featured Replies

Was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to correct an image problem with Dash 8 AI (World of AI). Seems the props are not being displayed correctly. Only changes were to remove landing lights from the AI, would this have something to do with it? Here is a pic of issue...

Thanks for any assistance....

I had this issue with some of my AI Dash 8's and specifically the Jazz Dash 8. What I found was missing was the prop texture file in some of the airline texture folders.

For example, The Fruit Stand Dash 8 for Air Canada Jazz had this issue and I fixed by copying the prop texture from another airline folder into the Jazz folder as seen below:

Check all of your AI Dash 8 texture folders to make sure they have a prop texture file.

Thanks will check out the texture folders....much appreciated

As WallysWorld said, missing prop texture, . . . . . . or bad / incorrect texture file format. If you find prop textures in the texture folders then check for proper format or replace from a known good prop texture from the same aircraft type and configuration.

In my case, the files for prop textures in the Jazz textures package had just an incorrect filename. I deleted them and used the prop texture files of another repaint with the correct name, as WallysWorld describes.

I guess you realized the problem like I did when testing the new CYUL scenery?
