Hi all

When I am parked on the ground, I cannot get the sim rate faster than 4x. It will go up to 128x, but the time will only go forward at a rate of 4x. Is there a way to fix this? I turn around all of my flights and fly back to the origin, but with some, the plane is on the ground for 12 hours or more. Even at 4x it takes about 3 hours. Please reply ASAP.

...And on the topic of turning flights around, is there a way (including any add-on programs) to change the flight number without re-selecting the aircraft? Because that resets everything that I had set...?

Hmm why don't you just skip it by changing time using the menu? That shouldn't reset your systems.

Letting it load which will probably take under a minute (probably 30 seconds or so, even less if you have a SSD) is probably quicker than using the fastest time compression to forward 12 hours of time.

What is SSD?

Letting the flights reload would most likely be faster, unless you are using a plane like the NGX. If that is the case programming the fmc will take 3 hours.
