February 18, 201313 yr It's GREAT! I've been "flying" the latest 2 RCs, and I am really very positively impressed by this release, in all aspects, from flight dynamics to systems (sophisticated in th 777 and 744, and others...) to rendering of the skies, detail of the weather model, autogen, etc... Watch this video as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Cmhy9zjRBGs Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
February 18, 201313 yr Commercial Member I'm still waiting for the new airports and scenery: http://flightgear.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=18336&start=15
February 18, 201313 yr Scenery may be sparse but can easily be grown.... Weather modelling / effects are GREAT! I had a great time flying the K13 over Madrid using the thermals, the ridges, etc... Great simulation platform!!!! September 25, 201312 yr Did you test the FlightGear mode in OSM2XP ? Nope :-/ Just in X-plane :-) Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
September 25, 201312 yr Commercial Member Looks interesting to see how this is progressing. I did read about the 3.0 version that should be coming out early next year and it looks like that might be pretty good for a free simulator. REX AccuSeason Developer REX Simulations
