March 1, 201313 yr I have been trying to find these 2 tools for FSX. I know they were released for FS2004: Bubble Sextant Gauge by Dave Bitzer and Mark Beaumont. Driftmeter by Dave Bitzer These would be great additions to the A2A B-17 and 377. Anyone know if these are released for FSX or adaptable? March 1, 201313 yr I have both of those gauges. They are BB_sextant.cab and Drift5.cab and Drift7.cab. They will work in FSX as far as I remember. Bob.
March 3, 201313 yr When I tried these gauges recently the drift meter worked just fine right "out of the box", but the sextant would never return a distance until I modified it a bit. (PM me if you need the modified version.)

(PM me if you need the modified version.) So to be sure I set these up correctly. Where are you guys downloading these from? I will PM you Kronzky for the correct file. Any advice on installing these? Thanks I will post later today on some advice on using a Sextant for others to see. Rob"Life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it"
March 4, 201313 yr You can either Where are you guys downloading these from? I will PM you Kronzky for the correct file. Any advice on installing these? You can either download them directly from the DC3 Airways site (which is the authors' main "hangout"): http://www.dc3airway...oads/gauges.htm Most FS repositories will have them as well, (e.g. Simviation has a nice page for it). As far as installation — it's the same as any addon gauge, and the gauges do come with instructions. The sextant itself also comes with very detailed usage instructions, but some people find them a bit overwhelming, so I set up a little tutorial page on my site, with some "bare bones recipes": http://kronzky.info/...xtant/tutorial/
March 4, 201313 yr HI. Thanks. That tutorial is great. To be honest I have had the gauge for years and never did try it. Regards, Bob.
