March 4, 201313 yr IF you have FSUIPC installed, it may be limiting the winds. Check the settings. I use the latest Active Sky 2012 SP2 Beta 6 and the winds are whats outside. Ive tried OPUS, and while a good program, AS2012 has made me into a loyal user. But yes, this sounds like an FSUIPC issue. March 4, 201313 yr what are you using for your weather? Rex+Opus? Active Sky? FSX Default Real World Weather? FSX Fair Skies? FSX Clear Skies???? Any of these could be the culprit. I have MANY times been as low as on the ground, up to FL350 and had winds as strong as 80 Knots!!! I've even flown out to a hurricane off the coast of Bermuda one time, and had winds in excess of 115 Knots!! .... this was while I have the Registered Version of FSUIPC also.
