Lot of us have been making sure to get all the Iditarod checkpoints. As mentioned, the race is underway as we speak. A Cessna 182 that stopped in Merrill from Anchorage and then was making its way to Takotna never arrived. Speculation is that these people may have been related to the race.

 

One of my best friends moved from Phoenix to Anchorage last year to be a reporter for one of the major stations. This will be his story tonight and it will soon be released that the plane was reportedly found at Simpson Pass with no survivors.

 

Microsoft gave us a beautiful place to explore and fly. Let us not forget that many places there are only accessible by air and merely going from one city to another can be a risky endeavor for residents. May we honor them.
