why does my scenery look blurry?

hello,

 

Im just wondering why does my scenery look so blury in the distance but when i look down it looks crystal clear. i followed Word Not Allowed's tweak guide and it worked perfectly but the scenery just looks awful. oh and btw it's orbx uk scenery.

Have you tried searching the forum for "Blurry" or "Blurries"? Lots of information.

Have you tried adjusting LOD_RADIUS under [TERRAIN] in FSX.cfg? Consider increasing it past 4.5 (the FSX default maximum) if you are still unsatisfied and your system can handle it. Also, are you using anisotropic filtering?

my lod radius is set to 6.5

Without a very good system, or settings turned down you will see blurries with that high a LOD. On a slower system or with settings to high it would be like trying to race a Plane in a Pinto. Not gonna happen.
