March 13, 201313 yr I have a problem with the runway lighting where it makes the runway appear green/purple and very low res. I feel like I have tried everything to fix this and I have not been able to find the solution online. The attached image is a fresh copy of FSX with nothing but the NGX SP1 installed. Windows and FSX are both up to date, all other addon/default aircraft do not have this problem. Specs: Windows 7 i7 2600k MSI GTX 670 (Same thing happens with my ATI card) 16GB RAM (tested) Resolution: 1920x1080 - I have tried lowering it, running multiple and single monitors, and windowed and full screen in FSX. Any advice would be appreciated.
March 13, 201313 yr I have exactly the same problem! Thought it was just me - no idea how to fix it so any help here would be great Elliot Westacott

March 15, 201313 yr What are your system specs? Maybe it is something we are both using. March 16, 201313 yr Author I haven't had any luck with or without REX. I made an improvement by using the 4xS version in the Nvidia Config Guide http://forum.avsim.net/topic/324786-nvidia-configuration-guide-inspector-2xxxx-drivers-version-20-explanations-of-all-settings/ I also found a thread on a different website that has users mentioning a problem at night with Nvidia and Samsung monitors. I am using a BX2250.
March 16, 201313 yr Side effect of the lights actually illuminating the surface it is on. FWIW Dell monitor here. Regards Luke M

Weirdly it only happens in FSX at night with the NG - every other aircraft/game is fine - which is strange if its hardware related Elliot Westacott
March 16, 201313 yr Author Very interesting, I will PM the thread I found (not sure if I can post it here). I have an Acer monitor I will try tomorrow.
