March 16, 201313 yr I have made a time lapsed video showing the wing flex on the Captain Sim 777-300 (during takeoff). Quite remarkable, crazy actually. Take a look... -abasa12 Derek MacPherson At the risk of sounding cliche, I love planes.GTX 770 / i7-4790K / 16GB DDR3
March 16, 201313 yr Author They do it in real life too. It's why the 777 has no wingtips. Why would the winglets affect wingflex? Edited March 17, 201313 yr by firehawk44 Derek MacPherson At the risk of sounding cliche, I love planes.GTX 770 / i7-4790K / 16GB DDR3
March 17, 201313 yr They do it in real life too. It's why the 777 has no wingtips. This is not true. The 777 has raked winglets. Winglets have to do with air flow when flying through the air to make it more smooth. Nothing to do with wingflex. Edited March 17, 201313 yr by firehawk44
