March 17, 201313 yr hey folks, would there be an easy tutorial on installing flight plans? I find it to be quite hard. thanks towerdude
March 17, 201313 yr Hiya TD.. (Be great if you put a name in your signature or somewhere, instead of towerdude) What exactly do you mean by "Installing flight plans"? A flight plan is not something you install as such, its simply you telling the flight sim where your going from/to and which route your going to take to get there. You can either file a flight plan directly in FSX, or use any of the flight plan tools available online or via programs such as vRoute, which by the way is bloomin awesome... Might want to update your profile too with your PC and SIm details :-) Richard... Amateur Pilot and UK Web Hosting Guru 🙂
March 17, 201313 yr Towerdude, Your name is okay. We have no policy on names around here. They do in the PMDG forum though. There's a great tutorial in the FSX Learning Center. When you open up FSX, click on Learning Center then Flight Planner. Best regards, Jim Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! March 18, 201313 yr Guys he is talking about AI flight plans these you do need to install and also install the needed AI models and paints. I suggest to the OP to search Google or go to this link: https://www.google.com/search?q=aifp+v2+tutorial There are several tutorials on how to use AIFP V2 which is the easiest way to install AI flight plans. I also suggest you visit the AIG forum at http://www.alpha-india.net/forums/ which is the hub for all AI related things.

March 18, 201313 yr Yikes! How were you able to interpret the OP that way? Oh, it wasnt just me thinking that exact same thing then :-) Richard... Amateur Pilot and UK Web Hosting Guru 🙂
March 20, 201313 yr Yikes! How were you able to interpret the OP that way? Best regards, Jim Well, two reasons a. the topic has "AI" in the header b. he is talking about "installing" flight plans, only one kind of flight plans can be installed and that is the AI kind.
